Thread: Content badges to become glowie

I've been playing the game for a long time, and I think it's safe to say that I know the ins and outs. I've been working, for some time, on a new character that was started about two and a half months ago. He's only up to Level 63, since I had to take a leave of absence last month. But I'll get back on topic.

This character is the one that I've been trying to turn into a Jedi ever since the system was redone. I had canceled for a while, and the last time I played before restarting was January 2004, back when the way to become a Jedi still involved camping in the Force Caves of Dantooine, waiting for a mob to drop a Holocron, then grinding away at a profession that you most likely hated but wanted to do anyways because it would let you become a Jedi. I canceled soon after I got the dreaded Armorsmith Holocron for the in-game Christmas present.

Now, it's a much easier process. I can't say I'm totally pleased that they made it so much easier, seeing as now Isee hundreds of Jedi every day running around the street and dueling with each other, which totally takes away from the realistic feel of the game. But anyways, I am pleased that I can now have an easier way of doing things.

I'm curious about the content badges that are required to become glowie. So far, I have one of the newbie badges (...has discovered something to do with Tusken Zealots and Mos Eisley, or something along those lines), I have the Imperial Theme Park, Jabba's Theme Park, Nym's Theme Park, and the Mark of Intellect. I have every other badge necessary to become glowie (the profession badge, and allof the POI badges. All I need are content badges.) Now, I have heard people say that the newbie badges count towards getting glowie, and I have heard otherwise. I've also heard people say that getting badges such as ...has killed an Ancient Krayt Dragon count towards getting glowie, and I have heard otherwise. Does anyone know for sure what alternative content badges you can get to get glowie? In all honesty, I do NOT feel like doing the Warren, or the Corvette missions, seeing as how I'm still on Level 1 skills in space combat because I've been grinding on the ground so much, and I don't feel confident enough to go into the Warren. Not to mention that every time I enter the Warren, my computer speeds up to 3k and lags like crazy. Needless to say, it won't be much fun trying to complete it.

I'd appreciate any advice that anyone can give. Thanks.

First of all, wrong Vette. Not the Space thing with the two Guships, but the Themepark adventure with the SBD's etc.

Second of all, this is what I got as far as Content Badges go:

Rebel Themepark

Nym's Themepark

Jabba's Themepark

Mystery of Mos Eisley

What ever the name of the other Newbie Badge was.

I have the POI's, the Jedi POI's, and the Marksman Prof Badge,

That's it.

Yes, consider it confirmed, because I did it.

I was working on getting glowie, I was one level below it and when I got two of the newbie turoiral badges that gave me my "inner glow".
