I was wondering if someone trained in 6 FS branches, and got Padawan, and then later trained in a 7th branch, could one drop one of the branches?

FYI You need to consider a few thinks before you decide to rearrange your template post padawan.

When you become padawan, you suffer Jedi xp loss, capped at -10 million. Because of the high penalty, most padawan don't want to risk death by doing anything except grinding. The Jedi trees cost more skill point points then other profession trees. Therefore you are forced to drop skill boxes quicker then you acquire new ones. Your character becomes a real "tweener" so be careful as to how you proceeed and have a plan as to how you are going to transition to the new template. You cannot convert Jedi xp to FS xp, so you need to get all your FS xp with your current skills.
