Thread: FS vs Actual CU Release

Does anyone know if the CU is slated to arrive the same day some of us get RotW via the digital download or will it be on May 19th when the actual box hits the stores? Having this knowledge basically determines if we have 3 weeks or 5 weeks to take advantage of the current system when it comes to the FS grind.

Hey, just realized, that if the CU will not hit until May 19th, those of us who got the RotW pre-order digi-DL will get to experience Kashyyyk under the current system!

Im pretty sure they are releasing it when the digital download gors into effect. May 5th seems to still be the target date.

i think both are being released at the same time. it might even be during the same download, just that the people who didnt order ROTW just download the CU patch

pretty sure their released at the same time, as you said, good marketing move for SOE I think

Yeah, so I guess May 5th is 'D-Day' for SWG. I guess it would be better for them to have the CU out on Live a few weeks before the box (considering most of the public won't notice anything until the box hits stores) that way, any preliminary bugs of the whole 'being on Live for the first time' can be addressed. LOL don't expect to login immediately on that day..

I think I have heard that the DD is may 5th with the CU... in effect it will be 3 weeks before the box is realesed in stores
