its a countdown timer that counts down seconds....thats what determines when the phases change...not by some dude at SOE who gets an email from management that says " Hey Joe Server Tech please switch the phases now".

Also, just because you have no clues why SOE brings down the servers doesnt mean they dont, and it's not always for a software patch...it could be hardware related etc.

Reminds me of a n00blet jedi who complains when somebody gets too close while they are grinding with the LS out in a place like the squil caves, then the n00b jedi proceeds to whine and call that person names because of their own ignorance and stupidity.

No didn't happen to me yet but happened on Starsider to someone yesterday...so I guess it happens more than we think...LOL good thing it wasnt me hehe, if i was in a bad mood and it happened I would probably put myself on autofollow and log my alt char and I'd probably get baned for griefing him lol!
