Do you max out Combat XP? What I do is max out Pistol XP, then I return to train. Is Maxing out Combat XP better? thanks for the insight into grinding.

Pistol XP is 30:1
Combat XP is 3:1
Pistol alone: 30k FS XP
Combat Alone: 100k FS XP

Plus . . .using imperial detonators you can cap your combat xp in about 15-20 minutes at 300k. Using pistols it will take much longer to cap your pistol xp. Most nade grinders can get 400-500k fsxp in a 3.5 hour buff session if they work hard at it.

What i normally do is:
1. Max out rifles xp first time
2. Go train
3. Max out rifles and combat
4. Go train.
I know takes a little while... but i get tired of going back and forth to village after i train the first time, so i know im losing xp by not training rifles 3 times then combat. Would usually take me 3 times capping at rifles, before capping my combat xp. I dont like using nades.... way tooooo boring for me.

i just grind out pistol exp and get as much combat as i can in a buff period then go train. i am not trying to power grind FS so i try to get atleast 60k a day on weekdays and 120k on weekends but i am usally over that number each time i dump exp. and i am still ahead of scedule of when my final phase will hit.

The main thing is to have fun while you are doing it, i started my FS grind when they released publish 10 and will finish when I unlock melee accuracy tonight. I know a lot of people who dropped everything and just ground through. By the time they got there they were that fed up of grinding they just gave up.
Seems a waste as I am now raring to go

just do the math ...
it all depends how fast you can get to the comabt points cap .
i personally can cap Rifles in 30 mins , and then cap unarmed in 40 mins . then about another hr to cap the comabt .
so thats
900,000 rifles converted to 30,000fsxp in 30 mins
900,000 unarmed converted to 30,000fsxp in 40 mins
300,000 comabt converted to 100,000fsxp in an extra 60 mins
total of 160,000 fsxp in 2hrs 10 mins
then 30 mins to the village and back .
so we can say 160,000 / ( 2hrs 10 mins + 30 mins )= 160 mins comes out too 1,000fxsp per min.
this would use up pretty much a whole buff , as you dont have time to grind out much more and make it back to the village.
so thats 160,000 fsxp per buff
now if we just capped the 2 weapon points
wed have
900,000 rifles converted to 30,000fsxp in 30 mins
900,000 unarmed converted to 30,000fsxp in 40 mins
180,000 comabt converted to 60,000fsxp already got
total of 120,000 in 1 hr 10 mins
so again 120,000 / ( 1 hr 10 + 30 ) = 100 mins comes out too 1,200fsxp per min
this way also means you can do 2 lots of trade in's per buff session giving you 240,000fsxp per buff
so as you can see not trying to cap the comabt lowers your potential for gain FSXP , this is because while you capping the comabt getting that last 120,000 comabt points your not getting the 1200000 wepaosn points which would convert to an extra 40,000 fxsp.
like i said its all in the math ...
but staying to cap your comabt points slows your point rate , and is usually only worth it if your finish up your session .
