As a Ranger, I can confirm maskscent does not break on combat and does give xp. Scout Xp is definitely the way to go for FS Senses. Without Master Ranger the cap for scout xp is 600k, pretty sure With MRanger cap will be 1.2 million (like other combat profs). Bonus, u can kill any mob regardless of CL and still get the full xp allotted for that creature depending on your Ranger level in harving. (no 1xp payouts for stuff under your level like weaps, except of baby creatures). Keep in mind though, that the closer the mob is to your CL, the larger the scout xp payout per harv.

Has got to be scout/ranger with how quickly you can kill stuff in a group. As long as you harvest a lot. Depends on what the cap is. I think you could get by with just the harvesting line. Traps will agro you - unless you use root traps. And I don't know how mask scent is now? I thought I read that it won't break in combat now? Does it still give xp? I am half way through this treeand am looking for the answer to this as well.

Sense is definitely the slowest xp for FS.

As a master doc/TKM, I group and use bacta infuse and other heals in combat on myself and my groupmates, and get medxp as quickly as unarmed combat xp.

i have scout 4-x-4-x atm and novice CH. b4 i got CH my cap was low, now with novice CH i have a scout xp cap of 300K! that doesnt take too long to get as i run lair missions on dantooine, kill and harvest everything at or close to my lvl, coupla hours atm = maxed weaps and scout xp.

and 300k of scout xp is surely a lot better than pre-CU 30k cap for me
