Thread: Are we allowed to Surrender FS Skills AFTER the 2nd Character Slot is unlocked?

*Sorry if this is a Bumer but I just want to confirm this before I plunge into this Jedi crap and screw up my existing character.


So after i wasted 24 skill points to fill up 6 branches of FS skills and completed my Jedi Trials; Got my jedi robes and lightsaber and finally unlock that 2nd character slot - Can I then surrender ANY of those useless FS skills?


Or is the first character slot always meant to be the Jedi whereas the 2nd slot can be normal/jedi ?

You can surrender a branch you do not want only by first unlocking and traininga new branch which in-turnreplaces it. You must always have six branches filled no matter what from what I understand.


Also just in case you didnt already know, you cannot respec FS branch skills.

Heres my dilemma,


My current template (character A)is a Master Smuggler / Master Bounty Huner / Pistoleer 2 0 0 0


That leaves me with just 8 skill points to spare ( no thanks to the wasted 29 skill points of useless Brawler requirement)


If I were to unlock a extra character slot (character B),


I will need to put aside another 16 skill points in order to occupy the 6 FS Branch.


Assuming i manage to do that and successfully unlock the 2nd character slot ( B is meant to beJedi )


can i then surrender and free back the 24 skill points use on the 6 FS Branch so that my Character A can return back to its previous template - ie Master Smuggler / Master Bounty Huner / Pistoleer 2 0 0 0


Please advise. Thanks.

Nope, from what I understand you want your 2nd toon to be your Jedi, won't work nowadays

Well it could, but you'd have to start from scratch and try to become FS all over again on the second character.

Right...the character that you become Force Sensitive with, is the character that becomes the Jedi. The original poster thinks he might be able to unlock the second character and transfer the 6 FS branches to the new character, thereby gaining him 24 skill points back to his original character.


It doesn't work like that. The second character is a new one, that is not and cannot be instantly FS.


Think of it as a fresh start.
