Thread: Is there a purpose to the Force Village quests?

First off let me preface by saying I havent been playing for about6 months and just got back in the other day.

Should I even bother doing this lame quests? Or should I just grind out exp and then transfer them over to Force Sensitive exp? I ask because before as a MasterRifleman, I was able to solo the Sith with conceal shot. Now I cant even make a scratch on one Sith before being incapped? WTH, they are forcing me to group when there are hardly anyone near the village when I play. Right now I am doing a Whip quest where I need to find captured villagers and speak with them. I tried 7 times and failed ... 7 times. It's way too hard now. Is there a point to the quests besides some gift? Do I even need them to become Jedi?

In order to learn FS skills you must "unlock" them. The quest you're doing now unlocks the Reflexs branch Survival. Even if you have enough XP to learn these skills, Noldan won't train you untill you unlock the skill. If you want to be a Jedi you will need to do at minium 6 Village quests.

How is it even possible to do these missions? I couldnt even scratch one Sith and I am a level 61 Master Rifleman. Do I HAVE TO group with other players. Is solo'ing these missions out of question?

No, you can solo them as a CL80 Rifleman. Or you'll need to group yes. Becomming Jedi takes a stupid amount of grinding and work now and you WILL NOT be able to solo it, especially if you're only CL61.

There's your reason, either group up or take more combat skills.

This is a INCLUDED part of the game. Even if you beat the sith shadows that come (I got them bugged and lured them inside my home, killed them without even takeing a hit hehe) if your CL level is less then 80 the sith do WAY more damage

When I was CL56 they did 1000-1500 damage a shot

When I was CL69 they did 500-600 damage a shot

Now I am CL72 and they do 300-350 damage a shot

Personally I think this is unfair, makeing you master TWO professions instead of just one

I have that same temp and I love it but a lot of peeps have told me to drop one or the other and go either ranged/ranged or melee/melee since ranged/melee doesn't work well since the CU. personally I love the combo but it is totally up to you and your playstyle. Doing ranged/melee isrequires totally different type of playsytle than I have seen anyone else use so far.

Doc / CM adds to your CL and you get Heals & Buffs/Dots. It also helps when you're a Padawan alot! I'd definatly reccomend Doc.

BH with a main weapon type and commando seemed popular since you can make Rifle, Pistol, Carbine, Heavy Weapons and Combat XP.
