Thread: Can't read sith WP disk even though its in my inventory

Ok well i got the visit fromt he old man, and 2 sith attacked me. I killed one and looted a waypoint disk from him. I still have my crystal and now a wp disk which when i radial menu it and try to "read" it comes back with "you have to look at this to examine it to decode it..." What is this about? I have it in my hand and i can't read it? Am i suspose to be on dath when i read it? Do i have to be near the village? Help please.

Hi 
You will need to dragthe disk into your backpack and it will update.
I had the same problem.
Your quest will update killing the sith, and then you will be able to "use" the disk from its radial menu.

Yep. I doubt it will make a difference, but I was wearing my backpack. When I dragged it and just dropped it onto my backpack's picture, my quest updated and let me use it.
My friend told me it had something to do with looting it before killing all of the sith, or something.
I didn't really understand, but it worked.

ok thanks, so i have a backpack in my inventory just put it in there then?
