Hrm, without details, I can only give generic answers to that topic:

Just "unlocking" a branch doesn't mean you have to train in that branch. You can just not train it.

If you did an unlocking quest this phase(2), and realized it was one you didn't want after you unlocked it...as I said, you can just not convert exp or train in it. However, you can't do another unlocking quest for a different branch in this same phase. You're limited to 1 per phase.

If you converted exp and trained in a whole branch, and then changed your mind about it, I believe that you can surrender the skill boxes, yes. But, you don't get the exp back or anything.

Just as an fyi though, once you train all 6 branches and are Padawan, you cannot untrain it.

(There is an experiment going on the Jedi forums by someone who is already a Jedi. He already has his 6 branches of course, but he's going to unlock and train in 1 or 2 more whole branches, and then see if he can surrender one of his original 6 branches in trade. No results yet though, the guy is still working on gaining the exp.)

To be safe, I'd just not unlock or train anything you don't really want. It would be a shame to train in something useless to you just to get your Jedi faster, all the while counting on being able to switch a branch to something else after Padawan...and then find out that you can't. Just train in things you want.

You are eligible to make a second character when you become a Jedi Padawan. That's just a wild guess as to what you're asking, I think you need more guide time...

Yo i dont seem to understanded it yet, i have to unlock at least 6 trees, i can only unlock 1 tree each phase and theres only 4 phases?? 4-6 = 2 ?

can i unlock more then 1 tree each phase??

lol to complicated for me. I just unlocked phase 1 in combat for ranged accuracy and i wanted combat 0044, reflexes 4440 and senses 0004 so thats too late now or what??

Well you can only unlock one tree per phase so lets say on the first 4 phases you unlock all the Combat Prowness skills, and then you will have to wait intill the 1 phase starts again then you can unlock reflexes for example
