Force Sensitive Archive

I am in the village doing the FS grind; do I need to hold onto the Force crystal still? Or can I just stash it away in my house in my super cool secret jedi room I am making?

You dont need the force crystal......it was made obsolete by the ctrl-j (quest journal) screen
