Is there anyother way to get FS XP other than killing everything on Dantoonie and then converting Combat XP to FS XP?

There are craft and medical , scout and other thinks like that , that will covert. depending what you are trying to unlock and advance in.

and you could train on other planets. like go to kadara on naboo and look for a hunting group there.
