did what i ask make any sense...?
to clarify... it isnt about conversion rates, going to the village to convert, or anything like that... but rather, it is where do the points come from? i am a ch 1101, and pistoleer novice. if i convert my xp i make trying to level, then how will i gain xp to master the profession, or should i even worry about it?

Technically you either master your skill first or you dont bother. because yes you need to convert all those skill points.. and if you go to master skills now you are going to be upset about the lost xp when you get into the grind and realise

Master your professions you wish to master first. You will find it easier to earn fs xp that way.

I agree, master your prof's you want first. This makes getting xp faster and you also get the needed defence that comes with the prof.

Plus you get the much needed weap/combat xp cap increase at master (or a level 4 of something) because you want to make as few trips as possible...
