I quit the game for 7 months and just returned Monday. I was happy to see all my hologrinding paid off and I was visited right away by the old man. I was given 5 of the required 6 skill trees. I did the patrol quests to unlock the ranged accuracy line. Do I only have a certain amount of time to train in the ranged accuracy line? I heard something about things being in rotation.

Since you have already unlocked your six branches, there are no time issues for you. The village cycles in 3 weeks phases, and only certain unlocks are available in each phase. After unlock, you can transfer FS xp into them at your leisure. They don't lock up at the end of a phase.

And oh, by the way, all us newly FS probably are gonna hafta hate you. One branch to grind, sheesh! Yeah, yeah I know you already did your work. I'm just kind of emotional right now with one box filled and only 300k banked. (sniff).

Seriously though, welcome back to the game!

Thanks Betoc!

Yeah I feel sorry for everyone that has to grind all 6 trees. I am worn out and I only have 2 of the four boxes complete. This is taking alot of combat XP!

I'm glad to be back, I am especially glad that my character did not get deleted and that I didn't have to start over. Although all of my houses and furniture were deleted, along with all my force crystals and kraayt pearls...oh well.

What is all this talk of grenade grinding? Does hunting with grenades give you more XP or just allow you to kill enemies quicker?

You'll be happy to know (if you don't already) that there is no time limit on grinding your branch. Just find the branch you want to train in this phase and do the mission, then grind away. I'm so jealous!!! Have fun!

Well, now people are using Imp, Thermal, or Proton grenades to get tons of combat experience. If you use those on lairs and kill 5 animals at a time, you'll probably get about 30k just in Combat exp and that is traded in (as im sure you know) for FSXP 3:1 instead of weapons exp 30:1. It probably isn't worth it since you have half a branch left, but that's what is going on.
