Hello!

I have been reading the stickies & such & now know that phase 3 & 4 are gonna be a challange, as far as combat is concerned, I am here asking advice for a good all round template to take the above on.

I have novice swordsman, novice fencer & TKM under my belt at the moment, I am thinking about master swordsman, TKM, & some of fencer, but it's the "some" that is causing me confusion, I am new to the game, been playing for almost 2 months, so each day i learn more, does anyone know here what i should do with the above, I'm thinking MS will help me for offence & TKM for defense + meditate, but i don't really know what else to add lol, I'm not looking for a god template that will breeze through the quests, i doubt that is possible, I just want advice on the above, to make me a little more flexible when the time comes that i must fight these tough sith.

I have zero freinds in this game, so it's me against the world when it comes to these quests, I know each & every sith will be prepared for me, i Would like to be prepared for them, with your help, of course.

All help is greatly appreciated, Since any advice is good advice, IMO.

Thanks in advance, Regards,

Kalador

EDIT: since my last post, I have done the phase 1 quest for survival, filled the novice box & half of the first box, can't wait for phase 2 =D

First -- You should take a mastery in any skill that you enjoy. Whether it be TKA, Pistoleer, Swordsman, whatever. Just make sure you're a master of something combatitive. Of course, the mastery alone won't get you far if you don't have a good set of armor and a full set of doctor buffs.

Second -- Although you may be able to find some pickup groups for these quests, it would be extremely helpful to get involved with some players. Start researching PAs with common interests and factions and join up. Soloing the thugs, let alone the missions in Phase 3 and 4 may be nearly impossible without some comradery.

Hope that helps get you on your way. Good luck.

as a master swordsman (speed capped) master fencer/ novice medic/4-0-0-1 tka, i had no problem soloing even the harder thugs in pahse 4. granted i didnt like to as it took to much time, but i could do it. i had no trouble completing it in one buff session as as a full melee guy, becuase we had a nice group mixed w/ ranged and melee's that i formed up while at the village. so as long as each of us got in a hit or 2, we got credit.

rifleman are good for it, long range and good damage. anything with aoe's is good, as youl lget groups and you may want to tag credit on all of them at once (just be carefull of the groups that come packing a few thugs, never good to ahve more then a few thugs on you at one time)

most important of al lthough is to make sure your a mastery of atleast one elite combat. like he said. know your profession to. if your a carbineer/pistoller/bh/rifleman, dont let the thugs get up close. let the melee guys tank them or kite em. if your melee, buff up, armor up, and food up, and charge in headstrong. if theres 5 people in a group and each one is enganged on a different person, tighten up and get closer to each other so everybody can get credit for all of them. so as you see, the more people ina group, the faster it gets done. we had a 14 person group, so it got to the point where it was so much damage going out, i would run up, head hit 3 them about 4 times, then move on cuzz he'd practically be dead, so i left his last remaining bit of ham for the ranged guys. run, slash slash slash, move on. its preety easy w/ good backup. just remember to store your bike (there almost as bad as nightsisters as far as bike killing goes) and dont be afraid to run. the sith outlaws and the pirates, i could tank 5 or more of them all day long. same with the pirates. but the thugs, if you get more then 2 thugs on you (unless you have alot of firepower or medics backing you up) run. they can pack a punch. and some preety nasty bleeds occasionally to.

Give in to the powers of the dark side, true strength lies within ones ability to channel hatred into a deady weapon
