I got glowy 2 days ago and my old man hasnt showed up yet I've been sitting in the middle of the dantooine wilderness . Hen is he coming ?

It is a random draw to when the old man visits you. For some people it happens very quickly. Hang in there, he will find you.

The old man visited me afteralmost 72 hours, to the minute, that I went "glowy." I was already grinding weapons/combat xp in anticipation for my first (of many) visits to the village. Anyway, I was wasting some pikets and he shows up and says "Ipfeki, there is an important matter I want to discuss with you" (or somethingof that nature). Meanwhile, I'm surrounded by pikets and all I can thinkis you better not leave you old b#$tard. Anyway, he waits until I'm done with my XP and I go over and talk to him and...BAM...he disappears. D'oh!!! So, I wait for a couple minutes and he doesn't come back...so, I jump my swoop and start heading back to the MO. When I seein the corner of my screen the old man's head...he had reappeared down one of the embanmkents.I almost went back to the MO without talking to him!
What's even better...48 hours later I was doing the same thing (this time quenkers) and the sith show up. I was using an area attack and had killed them without even realizing they were there. I had to go back to spatial to see what (if anything) they had said to me.

Just got my glowie last night.... can't wait to see the geezer
