I have seen some insight into the difficulty of killing MOBs and HAM changes after the CU, but I have not seen any answers that specifically help me make some decision.
Easy question:
The heatlh and mind buff focused crystals recieved as rewards for phase 2 and 3 quests. Any knowledge or speculation if/how these will work after the CU? Will they be uber, nerfed, or just completely useless?
Next:
I have 7 branches unlocked now
a) Ranged Speed (1 box full)
b) Ranged Accuracy (1 box full)
c) Melee Speed (4 boxes full)
d) Healing (1 box full)
e) Persuasion
f) Assembly
g) Vehicle Control
When I first started unlocking, I just wanted to support my professionwith skill mods (Rifleman/Crafting CM at that time). As of late I have reconsidered. What I would like to do is wait a few more phases and get the unlocks that are more useful to the Jedi template, i.e. ranged defense, melee defense and melee accuracy. I am going to crank out some XP now to have ready to fill the tree when I unlock it.
So hereis my questions:
Based on the chatter that the exit quest will be infinitely harder (perhaps just because we will be substantially weaker), would it be better to just fill the trees for my unlocks I have now and not get the ones that are more supportive of the Jedi template so I can do the exit quest before CU? It would mean being stuck with those unlocks essentially, as grinding FS XP after CU will be so much more difficult. Or would it be best to wait it out, take the better unlocks and enjoy the new challenge the exit quest will bring after the CU?
Also, just an afterthought. It there any knowledge/speculation that stored FS XP will in any way be affected by the CU. I do not want to store a bunch of FS XP to find it gone after what will be a significant change to the entire program.
Thanks for your thoughts.

Everything now is speculation, there hasn't been any Official word. I think its pretty safe to say that health buff crystals will be fine, I don't see them getting a major nerf, just a tweak so they fit in the new system (CU) I also think that we will be stronger if anything, not weaker. Especially in PvE. Many people speculate things like FS grind being harder, but I don't think they will, they will just take a bit longer with the wind-up and cool down timers, preventing SPAM. I'd say if anything fill your 6 boxes now, do Mellichae. Then, unlock the branches you want and slowly fill them. Or, you can wait, and get the branches you want and fill them as you please. But, either way waiting or doing it now, you will hit the CU before finishing.

It's been said that health will only be targetable and mind can't be buffed healed after the curb...

Right. Which begs the questions...
What good will a mind crystal do me after the curb?
I am half tempted to do the ranged defnese quest this phase 3 instead of melee accuracy and not get a mind buff crystal that will be rendered useless by the curb.

No, they will be rendered useless at all. In the CU notes, it states Health will be the only targetable HAM bar, but Mind and Action are still needed to perform special moves. Sorry if I missed that in my original post.
