how long for oldman to show after a fresh login if hes due? say its been 40hours and i justlog in will he showthe second i log in? or is therea time period?

Logging in or logging out has no bearing on when Old Fart will show.

both timesI waited for the Old Man, I waited a couple days of not playing and he showed up within a minute or 2 after logging in.

Random. You could have logged in 1 hour earlier and he could have showed 1 hour and a minute or 2 after you logged in.

Yes, the time the old man choses to come to you is completely random. however, it seems from a lot of people's experiences, that if it is your time for the old man to show up and your not online at that time, he typically shows up as soon as you log in next.
this is what the guy was asking about.
