Thread: What do you guys kill, bols or pikets?

In other words, which one do you think will be extinct first?



Is it just me, or is the bol/piket population going into extinction, and the huurtons and the dantari thriving and overpopulating the mission terminals??

Bols with a lower-level group, pikets with a high-level group.


I've had a couple groups with 3-4 Master Pikemen (myself included), a Jedi or two, and some good healers. We AoE'd 82 piket lairs and took the whole thing out for 250-300k XP in a matter of minutes. It rocked.

Huf Duns and Humbaba's. What? You dont kill Huf Duns and Humbabas. Nothing like a CL82 Humbaba lair. They spawn like mad.

neither will go to extinction...somehow more just keep popping up out of nowhere with each mission lol

Where are these Huf Duns and Humbaba's you speak of?


And are they harder to kill than pikets or bols? Aggro, etc?

They are on Talus, they are not aggressive (except the vicious huf duns) and will not aggro.


They are pretty easy to kill and hit anywhere from 160 - 240 damage at CL80 - CL82.


Oh, while I am at it.... Torturs are always fun too.

mostly bols, sometimes pickets or Graul Maulers if the group is good and organized, usually just stick with bols cause some of the groups dont really have it together to take down a lair of aggroed pickets or maulers.

despite raking in xp at great rates with the pikets and bols, i have to be honest and say that i'm getting SICK AND TIRED OF KILLING THEM BY THE THOUSANDS!!!


i really wish that more groups would hunt other things, but unfortuantely bol and piket groups seem to be the only reliable ones to find on my server... or maybe i'm just not looking hard enough or in the right places

i hear this. sometimes i spam in dantooine to go to other planets. Yavin4 has magwax mamiens and tybis that single agro. Talus has a crapload of easy stuff. Naboo has a few things. Never been to coronet. Lok has a few instresting creatures. Rori is to boring to me. I honestly have no clue why dantooine is such the shiz spot for grinding. Yavin4 has alot less agressive mobs around, flatter terrain and barely to 0 lag. I love it, it takes a bit longer to get a group going but its well worth it.
