Thread: NYM badge quest for finding air filtet in cave broken???

I went to the cantina and tlake dot the reried officer. HOWEVER no matter what I say or how may times I say it he willnot give me the waypoint. So I found the waypoint on the guide and went out there, found the machine, but when I open container on the filter it doesnt give me anything?
How do I fix this bug?

Open it a few times, had that happen with my alt and it was just server lag. You will see an onscreen message and not get the item in your inventory.

as stated above, definitely try to open several times and be sure you are looking for an onscreen message and not for something in your inv. or datapad. you can always check your quest log, though I am not sure if it lists it in there, worse case scenario, head back to nyms and see if you get credit for it.
