Thread: any way to get respec token back?

Here's my problem...I was annoyed with my respec token window, so i finally openedupthe respec window, did nothing, and clicked yes hoping that it would goaway. Well itdid, along with mytoken, even if i changed nothing. Even in the respec week i could do this (clik yes withot doing anything) and immeadiately go back and change. That's when i got my 12 hour cooldown.
Any way to get the token back?? Pure mistake here

I would think no. Sounds like a situation that SOE has no sympathy for. Sucks I am sure.

lmao owned by the working as intended rule
they made an announcement when token respec was introduced that "it will keep flashing up on your screen, so eithe use it, or save it but it will continue to pop up this is not a bug"

That wasn't a very good idea...
You can just move it off to the side.

i still gots mine.. gonna keep it til I die. I like the pop up.. it is always there just when i least want it!!!! but what would I do without it?

Pesonally, I used mine just to get rid of the window. I tried mocing it off to the side, but when it poped up, I still got killed a few times because the movement chaged right when I was in combat. And guess what?
I'm still not sorry. If I want to go up or change something, I'll just do it the old fasioned way.

eh, you're better off without it. Every time i log or shuttle it comes up 1 or 2 times, annoying as heck. I'm sure sooner or later i'll accidentally hit the wrong button and mine will go poof too.
The respec was a good idea for the first week or two after cu, but then it got all exploited and twisted. The way i see it, if you didn't need to use your respec token right away, you probably didn't need it in the first place. Sure, it's a nice ace-in-the-hole for the future, but i honestly wouldn't be surpised if SOE just pulled the plug on the token respec with one of the upcoming publishes.
The respec has served it's purpose, if it's gone, so be it, and time to start playing the game as intended.
