:QUICK NOTE:
*When you do become a actual Jedi, remember to NEVER be caught in public in your Jedi Garbs or with your Lightsaber in-hand, if you want to live long enough to get anything done, remember Bounty Hunters go for the weak Jedi first!
*Be sure to train in area’s far out of the reach and view of other players, be invisible, be safe. Some good places to train would be Dathomir, Lok, Rori, and Talus.
*While training as a Jedi, and using your Lightsaber, remember to watch for the sight of another player, you never know when that player could be a BH waiting to make a quick buck off your new ass.
*If you do get hunted and killed, do not insult the Bounty Hunter with hate tells and arguments, if you got killed about 99.9% of the time it was your fault for not staying invisible to them.

Becoming Force Sensitive
To become Force Sensitive is the EASIEST part of the entire trials on your path to Jedi. There are only a few simple things to do. Even a newbie player should be able to get these things done in a few days no problem.

Badges
The first step to becoming a Force Sensitive and getting the GLOW of the force, is badges. Lots and lots of badges. Mostly easy overall. Below is a list of all the badges you will need to become FS.

>1 Profession Badges (Relatively the hardest part)
>5 Content Badges (2nd hardest part)
>3 Jedi POI (Simple and easy)
>5 Easy POI (super newbie job)
>2 Difficult POI (Not as hard as the name)

After these badges have been earned by you, you can use the /CHE command to check your force sensitive standing at any time. Below are the different ratings for force sensitive that you may see using this command

1>You feel no connection with the Force
2>You barely notice something different about yourself
3>You feel a faint sense of the Force
4>You have a strong sense of the Force within you
5>You feel the force surge within you
6>You feel an inner glow. The Force is with you

When you have reached #6 on this scale, generally referred to as GLOWY, you will have to go to the next step, and most possibly the most BORING of all the steps to becoming a Jedi.

The Old Man And The Sith
If this were a book about your journey, this would be chapter 2. Now you must wait for an old man to appear to you and converse with you. Generally, the old man has been seen in many different places, and reported ways of making him appear faster are listed below, but for him to appear, you CAN NOT be in a Major or NPC location/city. Sitting and wafting in the wilderness of a planet is generally the most common form and effective form of waiting.

WAYS TO MAKE HIM APPEAR FASTER
>Travel by shuttle to another location and wait a few moments.
>Wait approximately 1000m or more outside a player or NPC city limit
>Enter combat while 1000m or more outside a player or NPC city limit
>Log in and out repeatedly and wait a few moments

When he appears to you, he will offer you a Force Crystal to protect for him, this is what will draw the Sith to you. Use this item to open your Jedi Quest Journal.

The SITH
The Sith comes in an overall 2 step system. The first of which being a random spawn of Sith that works very much like the Old Man did. (Follow the same ways to make him appear faster) They will not spawn in a city just like the old man, so wait in the wild. They will generally appear and attack within 3 days of the old man appearing. When they attack, make sure you are the one to kill them. They are generally supposed to have a Data pad that you loot off them, and this data pad will be used to give you the waypoint to the base camp, and a waypoint to this location will be added to your data pad.

*Please note that if you do NOT kill the Sith or loot them the first time, more will appear, so do not panic.

When you have the waypoint to the Sith base camp, travel to the location, generally there will be 3-5 more Sith in this area, whom are easily defeated (noob content) and you will get another data pad and a unit of a mineral. Keep the mineral and travel to the new waypoint, on Dathomir, to the Village. Use the data pad to obtain this waypoint.

The Village
At the village, you will need to choose to do 6 of 16 different “Blocks” of extra power to a certain profession attribute. Below these 16 blocks are listed. You will go through 4 different “Phases” which you will learn more about as you progress.

Phase>> Force Skill Tree>> Branch Unlocked>>Attribute Enhanced>> Reward

Phase 1)Combat Prowess: Ranged Accuracy:+12 Ranged Acc.10 patrols unlocks, 20 patrols obtains Aurilian Banner
Phase 4)Combat Prowess: Ranged Speed:+12 Ranged Spd. Aurilian Sculpture Part 1

Phase 2)Heightened Senses: Surveying:+ 20 Surveying Not Known
Phase 1)Heightened Senses: Persuasion:+ 20 Persuasion 5 villagers unlocks, 10 for +5 Cm experimentation necklace, 15 for house plant
Phase 3)Heightened Senses: Luck:+ 4 Luck Inorganic Survey Tool

Last Step: Jedi Initiate
When you have finally, after tons of grinding, mastered 6 branches of the Force Sensitive Trees, you will again be visited by the Old Man. He will give you a data pad that contains the waypoint to the location of an NPC named Mellichae. Find and kill him to start your quest for Jedi Padowan. This is NOT easy, so you may want to bring help for this.

Mellichae: He has 55k of HAM, and 80% resistances to everything except Lightsabers. He is surrounded be force crystals of some odd sort that you must destroy, because he uses them to heal himself and in virtually un-defeat able till they are destroyed.

Daxter: 25k HAM, 80% resist to everything except Lightsabers.

Sith: A bunch of Sith NPC’s, roughly not difficult to kill.

!!!!!Congratulations!!!!!
After you have finally completed all of this, your hard work has paid off. You are now a Jedi Initiate. You may now begin the hard grind toward Jedi Padowan, then to becoming a full-fledged Jedi!!!

I HOPE THIS GUIDE HELPS!!!!

Well....the Old Man visit for me was quite humorous.

I became Glowy at 6 a.m. one Monday morning, and logged out for some sleep until 3 pm. I was on vacation, so I figured I would try all the "make the Old Man appear faster" tricks, because I had the time. I tried shuttling, running 1000m out of cities, fighting stuff, running back, shuttling...etc.

Finally, I headed to the Cnet Starport and spammed for about 6 hours...needed to sell some stuff....and then I logged out. The next day, about 30 or so hours after getting Glowy, I logged back in, ran to the Cnet starport, traveled to Mos Eisley Starport, shuttled to my guild player city on Tat, and sat in the center of town, chatting with 4 other guild members.

Ten minutes into the conversation...the Old Man ran up and scared the heck out of me! He came to me when I was in town, amongst others and not in combat....so I am pretty sure he just arrives when he arrives.

Yes, I was sitting making some traps when the old man bumped into back when i used to stay in New Dawn.

What's the old man say the 2nd time? I would of hoped depending on what faction you are that your visit would be either from Vader or Luke and does anyone know if the old man is fs or jedi?
