As much as I need the fsxp for crafting... I am going to have to use my factories to make items for my shop, I cannot keep up with the demand by hand tailoring all the items. I wish we could trade in some kind of factory xp towards crafting, though I know it won't happen because of the chance of exploiting like in the beginning.

Do you remember when factories gave 100% xp? I know some of the first master tailors who used this to reach master tailor in a couple of days, they bought like 8 factories and gained 100% xp from making factory runs! I got in a little of the xp from it before they took it away. LOL... those were the days

I wish I hadn't dropped my combat skills without getting glowy first. Every time I think of my capped tailor xp I cringe. It's just sitting there going to waste! Think of it this way, tailor is probably the craftingprofession that's least tied to factories. We still need components, but a lot is hand crafted.

those were also the days when:

1.) after doing one factory run, you had to redeed your factory for it to work right

2.) factories didnt pull from crates

3.) factories "ate" resources/subcomponents from the 1st item created. this was very very difficult for architect. back when all the heavy installations took identical wall modules from factories etc, if you needed 5 identical wall modules, you needed resources for 7 total ( 1 for schematic, 5 for the run, 1 for the factory eating the first run )

Can I store up a full 2 branches of FSXP before unlocking the other 2 branches?
How much FSXP do I need to have to unlock 2 full branches in the sense tree?
I was thinking of storing the fsxp while I dance and have master merchant,
then once I get enough fsxp for the other 2 brances in the sense tree,
drop merchant and get medic then unlock the other 2 brances in the senses tree.
Will that work?
thanks

The simple answer is yes

I stored all the xp i needed for all 6 branches of the two profession trees i chose to grind out. Then today i trained them all up in one go.

No...the cap is the novice box + one tree. That's 1.225mil or something like that. Back when the village first came around you weren't supposed to convert xp BEFORE free unlocks. If you converted xp before hand, you basically lost it because the unlock capped your FS xp to learn novice + one tree. So...yeah, I think it caps at 1.225.

edit: 1.225 is wrong. It's 1.225mil + the novice box xp requirement.

There seems to be no cap on FSXP, or at least nobody has found one yet. You could store up all the XP needed for all 6 branches if you wanted. A lot of people do this so they don't have to drop their main professions until they go to cash in all the experience. So, to answer your question, yes, you can.

And each branch is about 1.225mil xp or something close to that 450k+350k+250k+175k=1.225mil

The cap is 5.1 mil Force XP. There is a screenshot floating around somewhere.

This cap was only for those who had free unlocks. Basically you got a free unlock, trained it up, then you went and got another free unlock, trained that, etc. etc.

So I had one free unlock. I have also got another 2 lines trained up. I now have enough free fs xp to get the other 3 branches trained when I unlock them. Is this ok? Am I due to lose everything (my 3.7 millionxp) when I train up my next unlock?

cheers

Wrong. I just grinded 2.450 million xp in the last 5 days, and stored it all up until today. 2.450m = 2 full tree's, and i was still a few thousand xp over that, so either there is no cap, or the cap is more than 2 full tree's worth of xp.
