Im a little confused about one thing.. hopefully some of you can help me with.

once you start your FS exp you can get one branch per phase (4 boxes) or one tree per phase (4 branches)?

I know it says you get one branch per phase meaning it would take around 18 weeks to get to the padawan stage correct?

If you can only do 4 boxes every 3 weeks why is everyone so content on powerlvling with grenades and stuff to get as much FS exp as possible if its still gonna take you the same amount of time? am i missing somethign?

LOL that's exactly the point. Only reason people may rush is they unlocked all 6 branches but never put the fs xp into them so they decide to do it now. This i think is probably a very low number though like in the 1-5% range if that. Now another reason why people would rush is because they are casual gamers and play maybe avg. 4-10 hrs a week or so. Then they want to know what they can get in the fastest time possible. This is probably in the 5% range also though. I have always wondered the same as you why people want it done so fast. You have 3 weeks give or take 3 extra days. The grind is not hell as it is very easy to do in the 3 + weeks. So no you aren't missing anything. Getting it done 2 weeks early only just lets you sit around and do something else. I always recommend just taking your time with it as it is very easy to do. One thing you will want though is to have 1 extra full branch banked so when you finish your 6th branch unlocked you can convert it right then and there.

Oh I forgot to add this also. Honestly if you are a very casual player I don't think you will want to do jedi because yes the fs xp to get is a lot easier and faster but if you only put in 4-10hrs a week (especially since you need to include buff times and finding groups to get more xp) it will take you extremely a long time and the jedi grind yes it is cool to have a lightsaber but until you can get to dbl 3 or 4 you wil be bored only using berzerk and intimidate (unarmed skills if you have it). You won't do much damage, you get cheap xp, and you don't do any cool moves except just watching you hit 1 time every 4 secs. So just a quick heads up for those who are really casual.

You don't need a 7th branch. Just you will want to bank an extra full branch so when you unlock your 6th one you have that banked xp so you can convert the full 6th branch then and there instead of grinding it out after you unlock it. People go for a 7th branch so they can drop one. Like if they got persuasion and decided they didn't want it anymore they would have to do another branch of their choice then when they fill it they can drop persuasion.

You can UNLOCK one branch per phase. You can learn as many boxes in a phase as you can earn xp for. So it will take you at least 6 phases to get to the point where you can do the padawan trials, plus however much longer is takes you to grind the xp for the boxes.
