FIrst off, please dont flame me because I am asking a question about this, the commando forums just got done with me over that...Anyway, i am currently a commando 4,0,0,0 and am only getting 3.5k + 350 combat exp per baz niche kill. I hear that you can get 5k + 500 per kill but dont know what the difference is. I am a master marksman, master rifleman, novice commando, and novice medic with some fs stuff already. Will going novice TK or higher help, or does anyone know exactly which mod makes a difference? I am also in a full or nearly full group while doing this. Thank you for any info about this.

Two big differences Ive noticed are these. All Baz lairs are roughly the same pay-out, but the difficulty rating of the lairs can vary from 35 to 199...even with the same pay-out.
So to get the biggest xp in theory you would have to be fighting the harder Baz Nitches..which means a solo group.
The other factor is, when your picking your mission out equip whatever weapon you are best with. The idea again is to get the most difficult mission available to you. But when you actually start on the lair equip one that you don't do well with...maybe even don't have a weapon equipped if your nading.
Keeping those things in mind I can usually get 5500+ per Baz Nitch most of the time

the weapon is the key thing. i have a 1k max damage heavy acid rifle equiped at all times and its 1k more exp per baz nitch than i got with my vk equiped. that is the only difference i could find. also as we all know, the bigger the solo group the more animals that spawn per lair unless you didnt know that and well not you do. on bloodfin, giant baz nitch missions are 11k on the terms on dath. also, i used max damage power up'ed grenades. it makes a difference, i have hit 5k damage on giant baz nitches with them.

It's probably the weapon, I'm 0400 TKA and Master Rifles (for a while longer, due to be totally rearranged within the week), and I get about 4k XP with bare hands, and 5k with a rifle equipped. I'm not bothering with VKs because I'm using the defenses and don't really care about attack.

You will always get max xp if you are tkm!! I noticed that cause i was grinding tk on baznitches!!

OK I figured it out. I didn't have my rifle equipped when i was killing the Baz's. I was unequipping it cause i didnt want to take away from my combat exp but shooting them by accident. Now that i have a junk rifle equipped I am receiving the full 5500 exp. Thanks for the help guys.

I am a Master Swordman and novice commando 4/0/0/0 using C12's and i was only getting like 3k per baz and sometimes 5k.
So the secret is to equip my sword? I also didnt want to kill them by mistake and take away from the combat xp with swords. I also hate when the baz run away.

The only difference your weapon will make is when you take the mission as it will affect the mission difficulty and thus the quality of the creeps.

I just started my nade grinding today. Im 3020 commando and 4241 TK. I have my VK equipped when i do the lair. I get 4700-5500 exp per baz kill. Always equip the weaker weapon for more exp with nades.

Equip your best class of weapon (it doesn't have to be a very good weapon of the type) and don't waste grenades when you're down to one or two to kill ... finish them and save time and credits.
