So I got this holocron. But, when I use it, it just says "the holocron hums, but otherwise does nothing". What gives?
And sorry if this is a newbish question.

I could be wrong but holocrons are useless unless you are a jedi and you can use them to regen force

ok so i get the holocron regen force thing but once u used it to regen force does it vanish or recharge or what

I thought you used the holocron to find out which professions you need to master to open your FSCS?
Now I'm really confused.

Hmmmm either you are taking the Michael or you have been living on a different planet for the last 6 months. Just in case its the latter..
Holocrons have been discarded for a new way of unlocking. This is the village of Aurillia, you do some quests, spend a day or so grinding some xp and hey presto you are Jedi.

ahaha. Thanks alot. See, I'm a returning player. I've been gone for about 9 months and have only been back for about a week.
Now that you mention that, right before I quit, I remember there was talk about ditching the holocron FSCS thing and making it quest based.
Guess my memory just needed a jumpstart.
