As you can see I'm fairly new to the game having just recently reached my day 90 veteran award. Unfortunately I a have as of late also been finding myself playing less and less often as frankly the grouping and grinding aspect of the game is less then thrilling.

With news of the impending XP Nerf I found myself really dissapointed and kind of dreading the future of my involment with the game. As it seems from what I read here the purpose of this is to slow the progress of the numerous Jedi that haveflooded George Lucas's SWG. I'm all in favorof this. But I would like to suggest what I feel is a far more fair andstoryline compatible approach toreach this end.

Instead of chokingus with mindless grinding why not hold those who are Jedi accountable?

Jedi are suppose to be illegal, hunted and killed. Yet on the Briaserver I see Jedi showing off in the centerof major population areas on a daily basis. Flashing thier lightsabers, doing force meditation in the centerof streets or pretending to force pee, on thier friends. This behaviour is absurd.Inmature and in directopposition to the Jedi code.

Devs, why not set very harsh limits on Jedi? Make those who wish to play them suffer the loss of thier Jedi if done so in such a manner as those listed above. Surely such public displays should not only alert Bounty Hunters, but the full and swift action of untold numbers of Imperial Troops to wipe the offending character out.

Force Jedi to playresponsibly, or suffer permanent loss of thier Jedi. And you will see the balance of Jedi on the servers self regulate.

In addition a slight xp nerf if one thing, but the hammer you are about to take to this game is simply too much.Even the thoughtof it is sucking the fun from the game forthis player.

As you can see I have not posted often. But I feel strongly on this issue for a number of reasons that should be obvious to any SW fan.

I can only hope you will give this consideration.

Thank you.

There is no ignorance; There is knowledge.
There is no passion; There is serenity.
There is no death; There is the Force."

Well, first of all, Jedi who do such things as you describe do generate visibility for themselves, and they do wind up on the Bounty Hunter terminals. However, most of the people you see behaving this way are finished Knights and are generally no longer hunted by bounty hunters, who perceive themselves as too weak to defeat a full Knight.

Now, is the XP change fair to those who have not yet attained or finished a Jedi template? No. Is it only because the devs want to slow the tide of new Jedi? Debatable. The new grouped-XP system allows players to complete a conventional dual-mastery template in a few days.

Sounds pretty good to me. The Jedi really do need a reason to not flaunt their abilities where everyone can see it. After all Jedi are supposed to be unique b/c they're rare.
But the way our SWG Jedi act,it defeats the entire purpose of them being unique.
