Give politicians a quest that will allow them to get a banner for their town's planet to put on the city, maybe make it so you can do the quest to get it 4 or 5 times and allow them to be placed ONLY outside. it would make the cities feel a bit more real i think


also, you guys and the architects need to form an alliance to get the devs to make the buildings in the NPC cities available in the player cities, and maybe apartment buildings of some kind. where more than one person can live in the building and they could be multistory.


there are A TON of building skins that aren't in the architect's bag of tricks (the tatooine tower/dome things, we all want to have those in our cities), unite and get yourselves soem content.


maybe they could be looted schematics for arxchitects or a quest reward. always need more loot and quests

I would quite like to see multi-player buildings that one person owns.. but other people rent. Not sure of the tech implications of this but it would be nice.

Another idea that came to me was the loading screens, like when the game loads, or you travel, or go to space. How hard would it be to allow cities to "buy" advertising space there? Make it server specific and charge a couple million bucks to run it for a week. It would be a great way to get word out about your city, and you could add something in there about the different PAs that reside inthe cities. Allow us to write up a short description about our city or whatever (obviously approved by someone for content).

This probably isn't the appropriate forum to discuss this, but I wanted to throw this out to my fellow padawannabes before I went elsewhere with this.


I don't know how many of you are bothered by the lack of content in this game, but I have a suggestion for how to generate more. If the devs only have a limited amount of time and imagination and can only come up with so much (not trying to throw stones, but just saying that any group of people is going to be limited in what they can produce), why not open it up to the fans?


There's a book, published annually, called the "Writer's Market," which lists thousands (I believe) of publishers just waiting for the next "Bridges of Madison County" (which, by the way, was Robert James Waller's first submission ever). No video game publishers, though. Why not?


It seems to me that if I were a video game publisher looking for story ideas to help revitalize my ailing MMORPG, I'd at least consider asking the fans. Heck, if I held a contest in which the grand prize was something like a free lifetime membership, 10,000,000 in-game credits, enough free in-game experience to become a Jedi Knight (or even master) from day one, or a starring role in that story, I'd be getting off extremely cheap. The devs they're employing now to come up with those stories they have to pay real money to.
