I'm terrified. and i know this post will make me unpopular but to be honest thats the least of my worries.

I am currently waiting for the Old Man, already worried after hearing all the current groaning about the Grind to Padawan when i reach the village.
How it will take months even if you are a solid grinder.

And yet with the CU making getting XP harder the only thing i keep hearing is "Just be carful of the color dot next to the enemies name."

That isnt the question.

From the sound of the CU XP the grind could very well triple in time from seeing what XP converts to, if not longer.

I, and many others who wish to be Jedi in the game, haves LIVES, in September i am taking a collage course, and many other players have full time jobs and school.

So if the grinders that are on every second of the day are going to take months how long is it going to take us?

Years?

I paid £50 for the game and JtL, and have since been paying £10 a month, and very soon will probobly have to buy the new Exp since the others in my guild will be and otherwise i will be missing out.

And like at least 70% of other players, if not more, my main aim is to become a Jedi.

This proccess should be fun.

Even now it is far from that, it's a boring mindless grind.

So is the best way to deal with this to make it an even Longer Annoying and MORE Boring Grind?

Now, since the CU is still being tweaked i am holding onto the hope that mabye the way to Jedi will be improved since it will be basicly impossible for anyone more than the people without lives if the current way stays.

All i wish is some closure, all the questions i'v seen so far seem to keep getting answered with be carful what you fight, that many times wasnt the question.

Also, i'm Master TK, what will happen to me after the CU? will i be stripped of my title?


I dont want to sound arrogant and bigheaded but...

I am a PAYING customer and i expect to be treated fairly, just as i treat others.

PLEASE can SOMEONE who has information actually answer straight questions?

First of all, no you won't be stripped of your TKM title. I suggest you get on Test Center and check out the skill trees and everything else new going on.

Since the CU just hit TC yesterday (today being April 1st), that means it will probably be in TC for at least a month I'd say. You said you are currently waiting for the old man. If I were you I'd get my butt out there and get TKM/3000 commando and start throwing powered-up imp dets like a banshee out of hell for the next month. There is no known cap for FS xp. Do yourself a huge favor and grind and bank FS xp....AS MUCH AS YOU CAN NOW!

Lastly, and I can only speak for myself...nothing is gonna stop me from getting to Jedi Knight. The whole system might change but I'll just keep doing my thing and chipping away at it. Whatever system we end up with, a way to grind as fast as possible will be found out again (probably by a bunch of nerds in a dark tower someplace) and we'll just have to stick to that route.

I will be grinding and collecting for at least 2 weeks solid hopefully, but my grandmother is going into hospital soona nd i will be away at least 2 weeks this month.

I too will EVENTUALLY become a Jedi, i wont give up.

It just feels incredibly cruel if they keep the same system yet make it soooo much harder to get XP.

I'm also in the UK, so i am on a diffrent timezone to US-ers, so it will be harder for me to Group :-/

even if i wanted to, I couldn't possibly get all the exp needed before the CU, i play like 6 hours a week, if that, I am looking forward to the CU, but it's the solo/group thing that i dread, if they make this game group based, I'm done, & that sux LOL

LOL when I think of how these guys figure out every tiny little thing to be better at the game...that is the vision I get in my head.

Who said it going to be easy???

Currently i think its all to easy and there are allready to many jedi's
