Thread: Force crystal cave revamp idea!

Probabely good ideas.. But where is this "crystal cave" you speak of? Seems like a place I should visit...

anyway the only problem with your idea is this... so we can harvest crystals... so what? we cant use them! and then the amount of "better" crystals will flood the markets... Force Sensitive and Force Crystal caves... hmm well i think we should be doing other things than "harvesting crystals" there... since that place is so in tune with the force and etc...

Well, FS can go there to get crystals... just because, a reward for being FS I suppose.



But, having more things to do there rather than just harvest crystals is a great idea. This is just one thing, or something like it anyhow, that I would like to see added to the game. You know, gathering crystals in a way similar to what the Jedi did. I am almost certain they did not kill tuskens and ewoks for them, hehe.



Location of the Crystal caves, itsa POI on Dant, NW area of the map.


Deeper in the cave there are some very tough NPC's so go with a group.

In the force crystal cave, at the bottom there is a large entrance blocked by a massive bolder and debri. This spawned some ideas from the thought that perhaps the cave is not finished!


How about this, there is an earthquake that shakes those boulders down, leaving the way open to a new high level content area, available to all players, but with some Jedi specific content.


Remove the normal crystal drops from NPC's, and make rare and very rare drops of "special" crystals.


Entrance into the caves is the same as now, but, make 3 new areas further into the cave.


Level 1 is the blue crystal chasim. It will be defended by tough creatures and NPC's but there will be blue crystal formations, these formations can be harvested by force sensitives and all Jedi for standard blue crystals.


Level 2 is a more difficult area, guarded by advanced creatures and NPC's, this area will have Yellow crystal formations that can be harvested by all Jedi, but not FS only individuals.


Level 3 is the most difficult and contains Green crystal formations. These can be harvested only by knights and above.


There is a chance of finding clear crystal formations in any of these levels that will allow the harvest of clear crystals. these are in each of the 3 levels but the ones in the harder levels will yeild better crystals.


Crystals harvested from NPC's will be of unique colors or qualities. Clears will drop at a slightly lower rate than before, but still drop the same in all other ways.


Now, you could do more with this idea I know, just thought this would be an interesting foundation.


Repeat! Everyone can access all 3 areas of the caves, the only limitation is on who can harvest the crystals. You could even add these to the Padawan and night quests (Go to the cave and harvest X crystal)
