K just thought that I'd throw this out there and see if it sticks...

Currently trying to fill three trees of senses xp (as they were unlocked before I knew better and dont want to waste the unlocks) so went ahead and tried the kill rez heal rinse repeat grind... now I'm no stranger to monotonous grinds as I've mastered architecht, armorsmith, weaponsmith, and doctor just to name a few..... but this one was just unbearable especially at a 10:1 trade in ratio. So I started looking around trying to build a better template for grinding senses and combat prowess and stumbled on that slicing was a tradein of 3:1 with a similar cap out on XP as doc 0400.

Well long story short went and built a template of master commando, smuggler 0440, and tka 4000. That way I still have enough leftover points for the 24 boxes to fill and still whoop tail whenever I feel like whether I'm grinding or not. Able to grind nades, slice my wares,have full meditationetc.....

My question is I was wondering if anyone has tried grinding slicing for senses xp, ie a ton of survival knives with a ton of weapon upgrade kits, knives, and clamps.... something that you can chuck into the bin and not worry bout deleting it to make room for more stuff to slice. Maybe find a base to that you grind on since they give 1000 xp per slice (read that somewhere think it was the smuggler forum) and while waiting for the cool down do more knives at 250 xp per. Is this a realistic grind? Anyone ever try this? Am I just plain 24 carrot crazy for thinking of doing this?

Something like 3.6mill slicing xp for a line at 250xp per slice. Thats just nasty.

yes but what about grinding on an enemy base? gets 1000xp per slice right? should ease the grind a bit maybe?

Oh also as far as carpal tunnel goes lol do you realize how many gun barrels, ubese shirsts, adv BECs, and structure modules that I've ground over the last year? lol nuf said? so not afraid of a lot of clicking to say the least. All I know is that I speant the last 4 days after work grinding med xp using the rez method and it only gave me a box and a half and a mighty annoyed girlfriend

I did the grind by slicing and afk dancing. It was my last tree so I dropped some other scouting skills and took up novice entertainer up to dance 3. Dance 4 didn't increase the amount you could bank by much and I wanted to keep my master smuggler / master pistoleer.

I didn'tslice bases, doesn't seem worth it. You can get 1000 xp by doing 5 survival knives.

You can slice while doing just about anything. I would slice while I was on line and running my dance macro. It took about 3 weeks of 24 hour macroing and slicing. I made my own knives and clamps in a factory. The quality doesn't matter so you can use cheap resources. I bought the WUKs. I wrote a macro to pull one survivalknife, clamp, and WUK from factory crates in the toolbar and then sliced it manually. There is a more efficient macro I saw on the smuggler forum that pulls one laser knife and 5 clamps, 5 survival knives and 5 WUKs, but I didn't have room in my backpack. I would pull the laser knife manually after 5 slices.

BTW I found a way to save one click. When you get the screen to ask which color wire you want to slice, if nothing is highlighted, the default will be the first selection in the list box.So if you need to slice the positive wire, you don't need to click on that line in the list box.

Thank goodness I have chosen only one senses line. I am useing scout, and traping xp. I am still a Ranger 4/0/0/0, so I get good camo, when running throu the wilds, and I do animal mission and harvest everything. While I have filled up 2 lvl one boxes, plus 3 novice, I have only gotten my senses up about 40% some odd. I figure about the time i get the other 5combat related one's filled it should be almost full .

U can also add merchant exp. The cap is 80000 and you convert it for 4:1, so it's a 20k FS exp.

With 12 vendors with one item for sale and a group of friends that use it you can cap in 2 days. This is nice because it's passive and the exp grows by itself adding some FS points to your slicing.

I think the best will be Master Dancer/Master Musician with afk macroes.
