I got my visit form the old man, the sith attacked. I killed one, the second incapped me. After he killed me he said, "I shall return this crystal to it's rightful owner." then I got back up and killed him. Looted both and go the data disk. I try to use the disk and it says I can't make sence of the information on the disk. I also checked my inventory and the crystal is gone. So what is going on here?

wait for the old man. he will visit you again to give you another crytal to decipher the waypoint. I do not know if your waypoint is good , but save it and see. if not then you will need to wait for the sith again. Remeber, kill them all, then loot them.

My issue is very close to yours. I had the old man visit me and he gave me the crystal. While in a hunting group on Dant the two Sith visited me. The group helped kill them and I then looted the disk. The same error messege is being displayed for me too. The old man came back and I talked to him. He said the same thing over to me but this time gave me a resource container. The Sith came again and I killed them. Looted the disk again and still get the same error messege. Now I am stumped.....
I have been a member of the Galaxy since 2003 and this is the first time I am going for Jedi. I am not some noob rushing through. So please any help would be greatly appreciated.

Not intending to flame here but if you guys would do a little looking before posting you would find that answers like this have been answered hundreds maybe even thousands of times. Also the stickied at the top of the page have 95% of the answers you need.
