Thread: Old Man spawning
he'll find you when your time is up. he wont come in an npc city, but when your time is up once u step foot out of the city he'll appear.
So all the ways of spawning him are like the Silent Holo theories? A load of Cack!!

Are you ready for a visit from the old man? If you type /checkforcestatus and get the reply 'You feel an inner glow, the force is with you' or something like that, then you are ready for a visit and he should show up within a few days of playing.
The best thing to do is to just get on with whatever you are doing and he will just appear. I've heard that he won't appear in cities (player cities don't count) although when I got a visit I was in the mining outpost on Dant, whether you could class this as a city im not sure.
Yeha im glowy now. Got it yesterday around this time so only 24 hours has passed.
Was just eager for the visit as the phase shiftf soon and I need to do the FS quest in the village before then =)

Not true, a friend had her visit right outside my Guilds towns Cantina. It was even close enough for me to realise the message from the old man.

What I meant was I had heard that he will not appear inside a proper city eg Mos Eisley but player cities don't count as proper cities in this respect, so he will appear inside player cities. But like I said he came to me in the mining outpost on Dant which, while not really a city, was a proper location ie not built by players.
This is all my experience and what I have 'heard' so I'm not saying that it is 100% correct.
More ppl should keep it bumped lol 
but now I'm just going to wait, when he comes he comes.
