Thanks for the encouraging words, it is so great to hear such positive feedback after the countless bugs and issues on another threads!

No doubt, glad to finally read a positive post.

This has got to be the most depressing forum of all the boards, all the threads about crippling bugs. People complaining about how hard things are, and then people bragging about how easy it was for them during "double-xp". I knew getting into jedi that it would be full of highs and lows, and by their nature people usually post on the forum only when they have a complaint, so its really nice to hear some upbeat news.

I agree! It's a blast doing whatever hearing the spark of the saber each time and seeing the animations for your specials.

ya it takea lot of time and effort to get there but def worth it for that first jedi experince

ignore the grind grind grind comments, if you get in a group it's good fun, and so are the BH encounters, who cares about xp loss, it's all a mind set, as soon as you learn to live with it it's great

I still remember the first time I sparked mine.... Makes the village grind all worth it.

It encourages me to read such posts. I just completed my 4th box of my 6th and final FS skill branch last night and am now waiting on the 2nd Old Man visit. For me, I look at this as another chapter in my character's life. Sure, I know there will be bugs. I'm no stranger to those. Sure I know the grind will be hard, if not harder than before. I'm used to grinding if I need to. I'm still looking forward to it for all the reasons mentioned above. When you reach an end-game and have nothing left to really do, as I have done in some other games, it's nice to know you still have some unknown ahead of you.

Thanks that is cool of you to post these words of encouragement. One reason I love to hunt with fairly new jedi is because they ignore the BH threat as much as possible and have fun. As a level 80 I look for them when recruiting for a hunt. A level 57-70 new jedi is a blast to be with cause they whip out the light saber, heal and get incapped too! When that happens I am reminded of how much I enjoy being a master doc/fencer cause I get to throw a heal on the invincible jedi and make a new friend (espically when rezzing).

And, when or if a BH does come a hunting we usually let them know a lone player is stalking them to give them a fighting chance. This is more than those veteran cloaking dark jedi give everybody else! I hope people look out for me when I make new jedi.

I've only been a jedi for 2 days but it is way more fun than playing a regular character. I've already crafted a 2nd generation and 4th generation double bladed saber and xp comes so fast grinding with other jedi. I've also been grinding with just regular hunt groups and the xp is just rolling in. I was only an initiate for 1 day. The next day I got all of my jedi novice boxes in about 2 hrs, and got my first tier 1 jedi box the next day in a couple hrs of group grinding. I love my new force powers...that I can heal myself and others for 500 health at a time. Soon I will have more force and be able to heal for 1000 health at a time.

Had 1 free unlock from the hologrnd days. Was just a casaual player..but when the cu came and they gave us double xp....I decided to just grind hard and finish up. Went from 1.5 fs branches to 4.5 fs branches just during double xp week. Finish up the village in another week grinding with guild jedi and finished the village at last. The jedi padawan trials took about a wk and a half because of bugs with npc's not spawning. A friend told me to use the /target npc name to find the npc when it didn't spawn and after that no problems...and was able to finish the padawan trials, get my robe and title.

When you finish your last trial and meditate at the shrine you hear the Star Wars music play....it's nice.

It is alot more fun now playing a jedi character than it ever was playing a regular character. I just love my new force powers!
