I come here with an offer to take on an apprentice, who is currently somewhere in the FS grind session.
My offer is one of mutual benefit. I will help you gather all needed FS xp and at the same time you will be assisting me in getting jedi xp. We both gain something. My main concern in the matter is avoiding visibility, therefore an apprentice of a ranged profession would be my preference. Once your FS grind is complete the plan would be to take you on as a Jedi Learner and continue the relationship.

What am I offering:

A unique chance to play SWG, with limited role-playing mixed in, as a Force Sensitive Grinder and later a Padawan.

1. Give assistance in grinding FS xp and Jedi
2. Access to my knowledge of Jedi
3. Access to my crafting station, LS tools (top end)
4. Fun and adventure on a nearly daily basis.
5. Assistance in obtaining LS Crystals.
6. Protection, in as far as the game system will allow me.
7. Camaraderie

What I ask in Return:

1. A willingness to do activities other then grinding (some times, but face it, SWG is about combat and that equates to XP)
2. Willingness to role-play the relationship
3. Assistance in my quests, and “crazy adventures”.
4. Camaraderie

What I won't expect:

1. My Padawan to drop everything and be available whenever I say so.
2. My Padawan to sever any existing PA, or Friendship ties.
3. Absolute obedience (this is a game)
4. Any type of monetary or loot preference given to me, all things will be split fairly.

I’m looking for someone who would have fun role-playing a teacher / apprentice (Jedi) relationship.
I understand my helping this person advance within Jedi is a responsibility that comes with this
relationship, and think that could be fun. I am not, will not, commit to spending all my time in grinding,
as I’ve had lots of that, lol. I will adventure, and quest, much of my time, and would like a Padawan
who is ok with that.

This idea is about fun, role-play, and emersion in Jedi game play, do not respond to this offer if you do
so only to gain skills, XP, ect, I want an applicant who like this idea because it will be fun.

Requirements:

1. Imperial aligned (Dark Jedi)
2. Available to play SWG during peak European times
3. Willing to role-play
4. Mature (at least to a reasonable degree)
5. Acceptance of my guild mates / friends, as they will group with us now and then.

Although the game does not have a Master / Apprentice system there is no reason Jedi can’t role-play one.

I wish you luck in your endeavor to find an apprentice. I'm on Chilastra and currently have a Master. It is a very fun experience, because you get a lot of help with confusing aspects of FS unlocks, grinding etc. I hope the Dev's bring about a real master/apprentice system. For now though, it's fun to RP it out.

I like the idea, though the optimal means for getting an apprentice may be otherwise.

You seek a Dark Jedi Apprentice. You seek a ranged profession.

On my server (Radiant) these guys are in MASSIVE stock, grinding combat xp on Dantooine from the Mining Outpost.

Usually theyre an elite Marksman (Pistoleer, Carbineer, Rifleman) compared with either Squad Leader or Bounty Hunter and theres a great mix of factions.

I myself am a CL80 MBH/Master Rifles, neutrally aligned trandoshan, so if you caught up with me on my server, I would consider it.

The way I use apprenticeship is by making ties to existing jedi I know and meet and benefit from their knowledge and help them do stuff that depends on other skills than LS, for example a good DPS.

To sum things up I like the idea for getting apprenticeship/master connections, but I would best like to see them happen ingame and I would VERY MUCH like to see it implemented in the game by the developers.
