Thread: Need a little clairity...
That is sooo stupid. So basicallyI only have to log on once every 3 weeks... do a quest and log off. Then on the 17th week i can finally start grinding in prep for the 18th week where i can finally become a padawan...because grinding before the 17th week is useless... You can have 12000000 FS xp or 300 FS xp and you STILL wont be a padawan unless you waited out the 6 phases.
Screw that. This is crap whenI have to wait on the game and not my own skill/grinding. They are basically MAKING you stick around for 4 months if you want to become a Jedi not due to difficult tasks or super hard beasts to kill... not because you need to grind a million XP, ...but because they make you wait for 6 phases.
Im no power gamer, but making me sit around at CL80 doing nothing (oh wait, i can grind if i want..but I get results for my efforts only 1 time every 3 weeks) is pointless. Why are people still playing this game? I never undertood why people whined on these forums until now. Whoever came up with this BRILLANT idea was only trying to keep people playing the game because lets face it...everyone wants to be a Jedi ..even a little bit.
The only reason i was trying to persue Jedi was for a 2nd character I could make a crafter... There should be another way than waiting 18 weeks.
You dont have to become Jedi.

Just make your character now a crafter and not a Jedi, problem solved.

My two cents..
Its no big deal, im on my way to cancel as i type. Im still on my 30 day free trial anyway.... go figure, CL80 in less than 3 weeks and the first week i spent mastering Artisan and working towards master Arc.
As much as i hate it, at least WoW has SOME end game content even if it is lacking in many other ways. Best of luck to those of you that dont mind being paced by the game and not your own pace.
