well im glowy damit this old guy is a slow peice of dump {LOL} i mean wow WOWO \/\/ o \/\/ is there anyway i can speed this up by any chance

No, he's on a random countdown timer. He'll come when he comes, as long as you stay outside of an npc city. People speculate on ways that make him come faster, but I don't buy those theories, I just think that because they log out and when they log back in that he comes running up is coincidence, since it's possible that even if you are logged out the timer is still counting down (exception is if the server is down). And if it is a timer, of course if you log out, or go shuttle hopping over and over, he will come, since it's counting down and you not in a npc city.

So you are saying that he will be waiting for you even when you are loged out?

Not exactly, if you're not online, he won't spawn, but if your timer is at 0, and he hasn't spawned yet, then when you log on (outside of a npc city, that is.If you log on ina npccity, then when you go outside of that city), then he will spawn and run up to you. If he spawns, and you ignore him, or are afk, he will eventually walk away and despawn, then you're timer starts again, and you have to wait for him again. Same thing with the sith ambush (only if you die by the sith, and they steal the crystal, the old man timer starts over, so again you will meet the old man and get a new crystal).

ok when he spawns what does he do does he say anything or does he just sit theer and you may not even notice him like whats up man does he start converse

A little over 48 hours after i got glowy, i logged in, exited my house, and saw an npc titled "Old Man" on the far side of a creek in front of my house, as soon as i got close to him he started talking. Heres a screenshot old man he is a snazzy dresser.

Yes, that clicky is the first thing he says to you. If you aren't paying attention to the screen, you might miss it, as there is no noise or bells or anything when he comes up, but a white dot running towards you is a good sign that that's him

I got glowy about three days ago, and he just came to me today. I was getting so tired of waiting. Well when he did finally come, i had to run off and go clean something up before i could finish talking to him, and then he disappeared.
um that sucked.
but the good news is, he came back to me in about 15 minutes, all i did was jump between two player city shuttles.

Patience, Patience. He will come, the whole grinding to jedi is meant to take time. However if you want to speed up the time when waiting for the old man, go fishing, or go do some easy missions on dantooine. Also, don't look at your radar, you may become depressed

He just visited me now too long ago. i got glowy about 36-48 hrs before. did not play much in the meantime so i doubt it keeps tabs of thhe tiem that you are on.
I was walking outside of theed ( just outside the city limits) to get some things out of my house. decided to craft a firework ( some thing i have not done for about 2 years ) and there he was. so I launched a firework in celebration . now its time for me do die to the sith.
