Why? medical xp isent really combat xp and what do scouting have to do with reflexs? If you want something certain practice in something else cause right now it makes sense to me.
You are extremely correct, what does scouting have to do with reflexes... so why is the survival tree in reflexes then?

I beg to differ here. You cannot get med xp AT ALL if you are not in combat. in my opinion.. that should be enough for a reclassification. when SOE took all the xp away from docs for healing or doing anything outside of combat... then they effectively made it combat XP. Furthermore... if I use my healing in battle.. it actually reduces the amount of combat and weapons xp I get. if they left the system then i would say this is a bad idea.. BUT, soe changed it so doctors HAD to get into combat to get xp and at the same time reduced their combat for using med skills.. so in my opinion.. it should be allowed. If they don't allow it.. then I should nbot take a reduction on my Combat XP earned per kill. I can see losing weapons XP but NOT combat xp. Doc has to be in combat.. so his skills used in combat should generate combat xp just as any other combat professions that have to be in combat to get xp.

You can get medical/sense FS xp at an astronomical rate...about 3 times faster than combat xp...im sure we dont want to make it even easier for people.![]()
this is correct but not 3 times faster. full med xp transfer = about 120k FS xp, whle one mastered combat prof can trade full weapon xp AND combat xp for about approx 80k. so yes it is faster... but not 3 times faster.and I would support a reduction in xp transfer rate for med xp,if they ever allowed this, which they prolly won't. but if it happened.. med xp should transfer for reflex or combat at a rate of 15:1 or maybe even 20:1. currently it trades fr senses at 10:1. I believe 15:1 makes it more comparable to combat profs. and they can also set different trade rates for different skills so you senses people can still get your senses xp =)

I'm not sure if the yellow comment is true . . . I know a swordsman doc who can heal once . . . and hit once . . and get the same XP as every other fighting chacter on the critter. I may just me misinterpreting the quote though.
I think they made docs get xp only in combat to stop the automated buff bots who racked up XP without playing and went to trade in. It was also possible to buff your pet for XP . . .store him/her . . . recall . . . and repeat for XP. Docs used to do this AT the village and trade in wheneve they capped.
Granted moveing med xp to a combat situation may of had other reasons other than the FS grind . . . it did stop those docs from an easy frind.
Another aspec is that if you move med xp to combat type FS skills . . . you'de also have to move the medical branch from senses. The whole thing is conveluted . . . and would cause more problems than solutions in my opinion.
I say let med XP stay where it is . . . and let them finish the fixes on all the other stuff.
