Thread: Ok I HAVE TO share this Phase 3 Experience

So I play on the Bria server....tonight me and a friend(Keania) tried a base 5300 to the Northwest. Failure 1400 away. It was to be expected. Then we find a base that is 6000m Southwestish from the village. Flat terrain except for 2 Big valleys by the village. So we decide, what they heck...Try it since the rest of the server is camping Omega/Alpha (Our closest ones)...So we timed it with a stopwatch to see our progress...Making good time rougly 100m per min over flat ground and even picking up ground for the hills. Then comes the hills. And as usual he goes UBER slow.
So then we find ourselves with 4 mins to go...400m from the village. I can see the door only to find out you have to actually take him to the Captain. So now we are in the base with only seconds to spare when....Cough...Hack...HAHAHA he was dying. I started to scream when all of a sudden I took 2 steps toward the captain and Voila...Quest completed.
Anyway, that was my last unlock, so now the old man needs to come visit me dammit. =P Also, the Waypoint for the Lamda base is -400, -5994. And it IS DOABLE =P

at least you got it done. all three times i've done it, the commander bugs and either dissapears, gets stuck, or just wont follow worth beans...filled out a bug report, we'll see if they do something....as for now, my finger will hover over the cancel button on all 4 of my accounts, been itching to do it since the blasphemy they called curb.

That's why I'm glad I have 2 friends that play. We are able to pretty much do anything with us 3. Hunted Ancient Krayts, farm Necrosis, do all the Kashyyyk quests and Avatar Space Platform. I just hope we can do Mel with us 3 because I don't like relying on people I don't really know because of the reasons you stated above. Good Luck on getting it done and make a note of all those names, because Revenge is a dish best served Cold and I have had times, where the people that did things like that to me, asked for my help. Oh sweet revenge.

It's really stupid why people who are working together anyway, would try to do to both parts and screw up another person. Do they not realize that when you both do it, you both get the unlock and Sunrider's Destiny anyway. Heck, you even get the extra reward, the old mind buff crystal, and granted, while it does nothing right now, the Devs do know of the problem and I'm sure it will be fixed....one day...soon....I hope (I'm not holding my breath). The fact still remains, whether you do it solo or partnered, you're still going to get the same benefits.

I actually finished! i got sunriders but i didnt get the mind buff crystal. Can anyone shed some light on this?

The only way to get the Mind crystal, is take 2 people that do not have the quest. Have one person use the remote frenquency codes to bring down the correct shields, and the other person has to do the escort. If you did it like this, it may have been a bug and WOW...A bug in SWG would shock the heck out of me

nah i did both escort and brought down the sheilds, so i guess everythink is in order

Ok well since people are bringing up there experience, today I have been helping fellow guild members with these quests. 3 went fine and on the 4th omg, the center turret was bugged and was hitting off 8 shots per second which was verified by multiple members via timestamps. Finally we got a master defender full temp jedi and he almost died if it weren't for avoid incap. The finally 2 deaths later we got the commander and 500m from village he stars spazzing out. He begins running back and forth with no sith insight and the capturer only 12m away. So this just kills time and then he stops gets stuck and wont go downhill and dies 500m away! I really haven't gotten any bugs that where just this frustrating, but with that long arse walk and all the bugs, it really kills the game. This was all on Bria at alpha.
