Thread: Seen the Old Man, Defeated the Sith but no waypoint and can't read the datapad

After being incapped more than once, I finally caught a break and defeated the Sith and received the waypoint datapad. No waypoint has appeared and when I try to use the datapad, a message "you cannot make sense of the information" or some such appears. I thought this might go away once I received another visit from the OM and got a new crystal but no luck.

That happens if you get incapped. Once you're down the first time, they take your Force Crystal away, and you have essentially failed the quest. You have to wait for the old man to come again, and start the cycle over.

Thanks for the info - I was getting kind of frustrated with the quest and hadn't found any other posts that really talked about that error. Now if only those darn Sith would show up when I'm not in a mission fighting something else.

i got the crystal and the dpad but still cant make sence of the dpad.
