Thread: Sith Outlaw Camp found but friend looted datapad ... HELP!

As the topic title reads, I have gotten to the investigate sith camp mission. My friend and I were able to kill the sith, but he accidentally looted the datapad. We have tried everything but he cannot transfer it to. The quest log is stuck on "examine the sith at the camp" so I'm stuck. What do I do? Please help!

I've hit the same issue recently (although I wouldn't use the term "friend"). Anyone else with this issue who has managed to get past it?

My understand of this is the Sith will come find you again. Have your "friend" destroy the datapad and wait a couple days...

An update on my end. Out of minor desperation, after a few days of no Old Man, no Sith Shadows, I returned to the site of the camp I'd originally attacked. Would you believe the Sith had returned to the exact same spot? I had a good feeling when I approached the area and saw a message about the journal updating....

Looks like I'll be making a trip to Dath soon.
