So, the old man comes after 2 days and he gives me the crystal. Sith come the next day and i EASILY destroy them only to loot a bugged datapad. So i delete it and
the old man comes back within the minute. Today, i have another encounter with the sith, FOR some RETARDED reason, they destory me in 1 minute.and take my crystal. I get up while the sith are still here and COMPLETLY DESTORY THEM, THEY HARDLY HURT ME. And what do i loot? Not my crystal, and a bugged datapad,

Dude, if you think that is a waste of 2 dyas of your life, STOP NOW!
The road to jedi is paved with hundreds of wasted hours because of bugs, nerfs, etc.

Yeah, sorry to say if you think you've wasted your time with this you just need to stop right now. Village quests, Mellachie mission, Paddy Trials all plagued with bugs and glitches from which there's currently no hope for improvment.

I have done the mallichae trail 5 times since the CU went live. The only thing now is that the person with the mission now is the one who takes out the crystals, if you do that and have the group pull the other sith idiots besides darktal or mallichae until the crystals go down, dark aggroes somewhere inbetween the crystals going down then you should have no problem taking down the camp.

agree 100% find another way to enjoy SWG if this really is wasting your time.

If the you had really destroyed the sith the first time, and the datapad was defunct. They would of come back within 5 minutes. You would not have to talk to the old man right after that. I see a flaw in your timeline. Which leads me to believe you have no idea what you are talking about. Have a great day!

Well. All i can say is if its wasting your time why even try. Nothing u get will ever be easy. It took me 19 weeks to beomce a jedi...i took the path...bugged so many times u cant belive but i stuck to it...even thru the bugged paddy trials. It pays off. Only if u give it ur time

Hi... i encountered the sith 4 times, and io think i know your problem - if u get incapped against the sith u lose your crystal instantly, thats it all over. But i found when i revived i could "i EASILY destroy them" as instead to 450dmg they only did 45 (steroids anyone), i was then able to loot both a data disk and the crate of special ore, but alas as i had no crystal it was "bugged datapad", after a respec to TKM and finding a guildie that was cl80 (this is a must) and a jedi as well they went down ridiculously fast.
Note:
First time - ~24 hours after oldman visit - shopping on tat lol spent precious time trying to put on helmet to be spammed with "u cant equip armour in combat" ( recently return (1 week)from 18mths absence)
2nd Time - ~24 hours later - quasi prepared ( MCH + 2344Rifle cl 71) and a gaping spider hunter cl69 (pets are so crap now) + limited food buffs, lasted a little longer.
3rd time - again ~24 hours - went afk for 4 minutes for a smoke - only to find a guildie killing them on my return- i had no crystal ie musta been incapped (they are that good when u are lower cl than them)..
4th time - sith sighted, ran into guild cantinea to find a cl80 willing to help (luckily) and it was all over.... now the long grind begins............

I had the same problem Pre-CU... but I got attacked by siths twice... and I easially defeated them (it was pre-cu u know 
) - however the second time the siths attacked, the datapad I looted wasnt bugged

lol these next 5.5 months will be pure hell for you...the useless trees, the realization that you can't complete templates as you get later and later into the FS grind because 20-24 skill poiints are missin...ah the life of a force grinder

hey i quit after the jedi revamp for several reasons but now i'm back and i just want to leave something about this. i forget the exact quote but through all the interviews and small talk conversation i had with dev's they are LEAVING force sensitive/jedi path bugged for one reason: to keep less lightsabers out of the game
seriously think about it, if the system was pat perfect and no one got frusterated there'd be at least 25% more FS/jedi. i know it's wrong...it's a messed up system so there are some buggy "road blocks" in the way. it's so messed up, it's like the Red Cross starving a third world country so there'd be less people to feed...um not really but i like analogies...

I doubt they bugged it on purpose. Maybe they arn't fixing the bugs for that reason though.
