Force Sensitive Archive

I have been attacked twice by the sith guys and have looted 2 waypoint datapads. But whenever I try and use them to get the coordinates, it says "You must first loot that object before extracting any information from it." I did loot it! The first time, I had some guys help me kill them so I thought that might be the problem. The second time however, I killed them on my own. Still, same thing. Has anyone else had this problem?? Thanks in advance for any answers.
