Glowing with the Force was a lot easier pre-CU, but you probably know that. You will have to have high-end combat friends to drag you around to the POIs and take you through the parks, etc to get badges. There's no way around it.

LMAO harder... LMAO

I just got glowie in 3 days.

It's a joke. Try grinding 20 professions. That's hard.

The theme parks are easy and you only need to be CL 50 tops. If you don't have a level CL 50 buddy hang around a theme park point and ask someone else who's doing them if you can tag along. Easy as pie.

Seriously, this system is TOO easy.

Yes, harder. Keep laughing.

In the past, a pure crafter could put on armor, drive to all the POIs, and wouldn't need any help until he had to do theme parks or other actual content. Now, he drives 100m outside of the Dathomir Outpost and he's triple-incapped. He didn't ask how a CL 50 became glowie, he asked how a pure crafter, i.e. CL 1, did it.

Though you are right about one thing - this system IS too easy. It always has been.

They become glowy the same way everyone else does withextra help on themeparks. I just did this witha CL 1 MArch/MTailor/MArtisan.

She didn't use armor and carried around a CDEF carbine. ForPOI's be sure to have the overhead map up and drive cautiously. For themeparks group with a high level combat class that is patient and prepared to fight at all the themepark areas. They can't just walk through some of the areas with a CL 1 following. It can be done and it's not tough with a good combat friend.

Convince a lvl 80 fighter to help you with the themeparks. Also, a jedi with cloaking abilities may be able to help you with 1-2 vette missions. Last thing... you may want to use your respec toget some combat skills - surrender for example 3 artisan and 2 archi (or sw) trees. Once you become glowie you shouldbe able to grind everything back in 1 day.

Keep in mind though that if your goal is to become a jedi... you can't with this template. With your skills you can only complete the 4 force crafting trees.

it is strange a pure crafter wanted to be a Glowie.

Actully you may just want the force sensitive crafting but it hardly seems worth it. You only need extra points for experamentiaition and FS does not give you extra experamentation points.

I recommend everyone master duel combat proffessions before even trying any village quests post-cu. NPC's are level 76+. Unless you just want the crafter tree, and aren't looking to become a jedi, master 2 combat profs.

Pre-CU, I got glowie with my M.Artisan/M.Merchant/M.DroidEngie by armoring him up and having my alt follow him through the themeparks.

Since he could wear amor, this was cake, and the Artisan Masteries count toward your qualification.

Keep in mind that none of the village quests for Crafting require combat. They do, however, require a thick wallet if you want to do them right.

Subsequently I unlocked all 4 Crafting Mastery lines (lots and lots of Adv. Binary Load Lifter chassis for sale, still). It's nice to never fail, but the increase in "amazing success" is hardly noticeable, especially once I've got all my attachments and am fooded up.

The repair line is nice, though don't mistake, I've still destroyed a few items - but a few I've repaired to almost full. I'm not sure it's worth it since jedi items don't decay.

My millions secured, the Merchant XP over 6 months got me two lines of Heightened Senses, I've respec'd to a combat class and am working my way through baby jedi now. In retrospect, it still beat the hell out of the old "grenade grind" method.

...

SOE should get all my credit card info.
However, any time they try to charge me for my SWG account, they only get 1/4 of the money before the transaction fails.

Then I would post a message about all the great money that's there (and post a screenshot), but they have to wait for my next hotfix before they can get any more.
