I got a visit from the "Old Man", then got attacked by the "Evil Sith". But after looting the Sith and getting the Datapad, I was unable to read it...so in deleted both the Force Crystal and the Datapad. Later on I get a visit from the "Old Man" again, but he does not give me a Force Crystal and then I got a message that "the mission failed". What is going on, I was want to be a Jedi .

A lot of ppl have had posts like this and i had the same problem but unfortunately i can't offer any advice i can just tell you what you did wrong. All you should've done was to deletethe datapad and the sith would've attacked you about 24 hrs later. Deleting the Force Crystal can sometimes permanantly bug the mission. Sry to be the bearer of bad news but i'm unaware of any answer to your question.

I would say that if Davekk is right, then your only hope is to contact a CSR and tell them your situation.
