As far as i know, if you started melee acc. then you're stuck with it till next phase, least that's how i've understood it to be

no i mean i did it before i left the game , can i pick a different quest instead? i havent done any quests this cycle

Yeah, you could go do every FS line if you wanted to wait around that long and get all the rewards
