Thread: What is the best way to grind Crafting Mastery trees?

I am just wondering what the best way is to grind all four branches of the crafting mastery skill trees. I have heard architect but that only exchanges at a 35 to 1 ratio while general is 8 to 1 and other crafting is 5 to 1. Any ideas or maybe a guide you guys might be able to point me to?

Thanks!

Well, I did a few boxes of crafting doing the gungeon heads, 2k of ore(any ore) and 1k of gems per combine. bleh =/ nice 6k or so xp but expensive. You can burn 1mill of ore in no time flat. Somebody got rich off me lol! I did however have harvesters collecting the ore but it took a while to harvest it. heh.

I also made lots of architect stuff, houses, guild halls, etc. stocked up on those things because i was gonna drop it any how.

Did fountains water (500), metal (300) and ore (1000) =/ 3k exp

Master artisian doing x34 bikes... you get about 1,600 exp or so on practice for all bikes. I went with the less resources and get 6k of force xp for 50k grind cap. =/

Depends what you have a lot of or credits. hehe. I am 50k shy of completing my fourth box of crafting. Just make sure you have a macro and just have to double click the resources and keep track of the xp bar. Fills up quick. I know i grinded over the max limit a few times. *shrug*

I got another 3 boxes for my second column of crafting to do. fun fun. All that is left after that is combat which is boring sometimes... baz nitch, scrills, repeat. blah blah. fun fun. I think I actually like the crafting better.

Thanks for the input. I don't think architect would be feasible because of the high exchange rate of 35 to 1. That equates out to roughly 18 units of resources per 1 FS xp. Bleh! I am thinking of going Droid Engineer and simply doing Advanced Droid Frame Units because they only take steel and fiberplast of any type. Anyone else have any ideas? Thanks!

I've heard of that method too. I think my brother was going that route with his craftingboxes but he got bored and left for another game. =/

ADFUs are definitely the way to go. Two clicks per combine of generic resouces. Get your harvs on either hardened arveshium or crystallized bicorbantium steel and gravitonic fiberplast and you'll have up to 21 days on 90%+ concentrations. Can't beat that.

Check out my post here

When Duranium was in short supply I ground out a whole column w/ ADFs. Now I have it setup to do the BLLs. I am grinding out DE in 10 minutes. That is 48,000 FS XP. The only drawbacks are prep time and you use alot of resources but it is a better grind. Less stressful and you can grind you other trees while the factories make the sub components.

I am grinding Heavy Warhead Mechanisms from 0020 in weaponsmith. Gives 735 ws xp in practice mode.
180 metal
40 Thoranium steel
80 Skevon reactive gas
50 Radioactive
10 polymer
10 Hydron-3 inert gas

It does require specific resources, but the grind goes pretty quickly, the only problem is the the Ws xp caps
very quickly, so it would be wise to fill up your inventory with the resources needed, all your tools
and have a droid with weapon, droid, general item crafting station in it and go to the village.
