No that doesn't really mean anything, it's just an eye catching subject heading. Like a billboard. Sorry, long post.I have a question(s) about FS grinding .. nope, you don't have to throw your laptop. This is not abouteasiest method. You cannot grind any FS xp at all and just unlock the boxes. Am I correct? I think so. So then you are just playing, trying different templates, PvPing perhaps, enjoying the game, and doing unlock missions (own reasons for doing this below, since I know someone will ask).

So, I am wondering, you come back to the game and like a christmas present all your FS is unlocked! WhoO HoO! So then it's nades or grinding time. Now you have 6 branches unlocked. Let's say that you unlocked them asap and they are retarded stuff, and you are thinking o0(I want to master polearms this week) so you want to unlock melee speed, which you haven't yet. How does one grind for the xp? I have heard it said that you have to keep 6 blocks open to retain jedi, or lose your alt, etc bad things happen. So once you have six, and you move on, can you change it like normal professions? Or is it behind you .. no longer matters. You are locked into the jedi realm now. So the question after all that is, can you unlock more boxes and then drop some without penalty? Do you lose xp as with all other professions or can you move it around? (probably not I am thinking)

This is all assuming that the most difficult part of all this is to unlock all these boxes and get to padawan before any 'changes' are made. If they are.

And about why? so you don't have to ask; I started playing this game to fill time, and save money (purchase and rentl of xbox games) while I am still serving in the Navy. And either land locked (desert) orwater locked (ocean)And, now I like playing it too much. About to become a civilian again, just want to get everything unlocked before all this gets packed up for awhile.

The prerequsite for Jedi initiate is 6 FS branches. If you want to change the branches after you become a jedi initiate, you must fully train in a seventh branch, then you can drop another branch. The real issue becomes the death penalty when you become Jedi. Loss of xp is a major concern. If you go into the xp hole before you get novice lightsaber, you're never going to dig out. The training lightsaber is only good for banging on butterflys and if you're serveral thousand negative Jedi xp, you're goining to be grinding a longtime at 50 xp per kill.Once you start gaining boxes in the Jedi trees, you need to drop skills somewhere else. Jedi boxes cost more then regular skills, so as your Jedi gets stronger, your fs grinder will get weaker faster. You end up with a real "tweener" character until you get a top box in aLightsaber skill and some force healing abilities. You can't convert Jedi xp to FS xp so you really need to think about your final template and how you plan to get there.

Thanks. This is EXACTLY what I was wondering about .. when you get to this inbetween stage where you are not a strong jedi, yet you are not really a defence stacker anymore. I am guessing this is the most 'hermit' stage of the jedi experiance. Cause I am sure these are the most vunerable to the BH.

I noticed in my groupchat that at least one jedi store all the xp he can get.
He doesnt spend it on getting boxes, he get all the xp he need first just to go around this "tweneer state".
