Okay, my friend and I have the radio frequency and that wp disk. He turned in the wp disk and we head out towards the base. I killed the two turrets out front and then activated the radio frequency thing. The gate and sith appear. Now I get killed but get the message that I can only complete this mission if I capture the commander and bring him back. My friend is still alive, and he'll rez me as soon as he kills this one thug.
My question is do I have to capture the commander to complete this quest or will I still get the unlock if my friend captures the commander.

if you die, your friend can still capture the commander, just make sure you're with him when he reaches the village. I verified this worked last night as the same thing happened to me 
We both got the mind crystal and the lightsaber crystal as the reward.
We both got the mind crystal and the lightsaber crystal as the reward.Basically this is the easiest way to complete the mission, as once the shield dropper dies, the commander will spawn immediately, so no need to even kill 5 thugs

lol Thanks so much. I do have a question though. How the heck do you get in there with all those sith sitting outside? I've waited for the despawn time, but there always seems to be someone there. We tried several times to get them to follow one of us, but not enough of them would and getting to the commander was almost impossible.
