After the Old man visited me when I first went "glowy", he gave me a force crystal which at the time was like my quest journal for getting to the village etc.. After JTL came out, the UI changed and we got the Quest Journal button.

My question is, what it the force cyrstal which is in my inventory for now? Anything? When I bring up the radial for it, there is a "Use" option but I don't have the balls to try it LOL. Anyone know what happens if I choose the Use option?

its still just a stupid quest journal...no purpose, mine resides in my bank

use will just bring up the same as the quest button...unless they have changed it since its collected dust in the bank

It's actually a bit of a red herring now. Originally it was given to us as a quest progress monitor - kinda like a diary. Thing is that shortly after around JTL time a quest monitor was added for everyone. Well at least I think so - maybe non JTLers don't have one.

Using it will just pull up your mission status screen telling you which FS & JTL quests you have completed/are doing.

Just stick it on a table top in your house and admire it

Will do thanks...I wasn't sure because I thought there was a different radial option that opens the journal instead of the Use option but maybe that changed when JTL came out.

Heh, I think it's non-droppable and has to always be in your main inventory or in your bank. I tried awhile ago to decorate with it, to no avail

They make great house decorations and you can get another at the village anytime you don't have one on you.
